Richard Tsang

Richard Tsang founded Strategic Public Relations Group (“SPRG”) in 1995. Through his guidance and foresight, SPRG is among the largest integrated PR networks in the Asia Pacific.

 

Determined to also make a difference in the PR industry and the community, Richard holds over 100 board, committee and advisory positions in over 50 business, religious, education, governmental and non-governmental organisations, even becoming the first Asian to chair Public Relations Organisation International (“PROI Worldwide”), the world’s largest network of independent communications agencies.

 

He is also a true philanthropist as reflected by the establishment of Strategic CSR Network Limited, a non-profit organisation that is dedicated to linking different parties to serve underprivileged communities in Hong Kong.

 

Consequently, Richard has received 26 awards for his professional and personal accomplishments, and has been regularly selected for various honours, including inclusion in The Most Influential Professionals and Global Power Book rankings.

 

As an avid supporter of education, Richard was a part-time lecturer at the School of Journalism and Communication, The Chinese University of Hong Kong, from 1994 to 2024. He is also an advisor to the communication schools of four universities as well as the College of Professional and Continuing Education (CPCE) at the Hong Kong Polytechnic University.
