Heidi is a communications veteran with solid experience in media relations, community networking, promotion campaigns and crisis management. Her career history includes 16 years of service with the Information Services Department of the Government, during which she handled election campaigns and overseas promotions. As Head of External Affairs of the Mandatory Provident Fund Schemes Authority, Heidi successfully launched the Mandatory Provident Funds Schemes System in 2000. When she joined the Airport Authority Hong Kong in 2003, she put together communications programmes for the airport that won the “World’s Best Airport” award for consecutive years. Heidi re-joined the Government in 2005 as Press Secretary to the Chief Secretary for Administration.
In 2007, Heidi established AsiaNet, a consultancy firm specialised in strategic communications. AsiaNet became a member of the Group in July 2016.
Heidi holds a HKU Master’s Degree in Science (Environmental Management) and a UC Berkeley Certificate of a one-year program of Studies in Public Organization and Public Management at its Graduate School of Public Policy.
